Letting accommodation via CityMundo

If you’re thinking of letting your apartment or houseboat for short stays, for example because you are on holiday or because your work means that you will be temporarily elsewhere or if you have a room to spare for bed and breakfast, please contact us.

CityMundo is the oldest company in Amsterdam that mediates for private accommodation.CityMundo has a permit from the city of Amsterdam (Dienst Wonen). We mainly have foreign customers who visit Amsterdam for a holiday or a short business visit.

Are there other requirements?

Your accommodation will have to be not far from the center of Amsterdam We have 5 price categories to which we assign accommodation units: from ordinary rooms to regal apartments and boats. In other words every kind of accommodation is welcome to us, provided that it is well cared for and clean.

How will my room/apartment be included in the records?

Before your location is included in our records, we shall make an appointment to meet you, to examine the accommodation and to take photographs and make a little movie.

What will CityMundo do?

Once your accommodation has been included in our records we will do everything to secure as many reservations as possible for the period that you have stipulated. We are prominently displayed on Internet and CityMundo has a rapid website with linked to it an advanced reservations system. The ‘check in’ and cleaning are in principle governed by you. If you want someone else to do it for you, we can help you find someone, we have an extensive network.

Am I free to decide when I want guests?

You will continue to control your own calendar and may close or open days, except of course when a reservation has already been made.
