Pioneers of modern art from the Hermitage

As well as Old Masters, the Hermitage has early modern art from the end of the 19th century and early 20th century. This kind of art was collected mainly by private individuals. After the October Revolution of 1917 many works ended up in the Hermitage. The exhibition will present an outstanding selection from this surprisingly rich collection.
Hermitage Amsterdam is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm, Wednesdays to 8 pm. Closed on January 1st and December 25th
