Amsterdam Weather

With this city being so close to the North Sea, the weather is neither extremely hot nor cold and there's always some chance of wind and rain. Temperatures range from around freezing in winter (It's common to have some snow in winter, but the canals don't often freeze over), through to sunny days and 20 to 30 degrees Celsius in summer. Extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes are very uncommon in the Netherlands. When you come to the Netherlands, the best thing to do is to always bring some clothes for rainy days, as you can never be one hundred per cent sure of the weather in any particular season.
