Alexander Abdessemad AUSTRIA (02/04/2012) "A very nice Place to relaxe in a central very good located spot. The houseboat is stuffed with everything you need for a nice and easy holiday. we only had trouble to get the internet running and also the nice lady from next door where we got the keys from couldnt help us with this......... but excet from that everything was perfect. thanks a lot!"
Janet Eyler United States of Amerika (01/16/2012) "This is the second time we have stayed at this boat. In the spring it was delightful but in the rain of December it was even better. It was pouring in Amsterdam when we arrived. What a pleasure to be able to sit at our kitchen table sipping coffee and watching the swans sail by. Nicely appointed boat very well located near to the museums and also to grocery shopping and restaurants. Perfect for a couple. The second bedroom would be fine for children but not really a second couple; we used it as our closet and dressing room. Very comfortable living room and well equipped kitchen. The nearby caretaker was gracious and arranged for our cab to the station when we left. CityMundo was great to work with and we will certainly rent through them again."
Johanna Naylor United Kingdom (01/12/2012) "We stayed on this houseboat for 5 nights at the beginning of January 2012 and loved it. Very easy to reach from Central Station, great location, and the houseboat itself is lovely. Even nicer than the photos, with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay - a real 'home away from home' feel. So much nicer than a hotel and much better value for money. The boat is 2 minutes from a tram stop, 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket, and within walking distance of all of Amsterdam's nicest areas and tourist attractions. We were greeted by the owner's neighbour who was very welcoming and helpful. Enjoyed our stay so much that we are thinking about coming back again in summer to make the most of the lovely deck area on the canal! - Johanna & Christy, Glasgow, Scotland. "
Heike Drewes (11/16/2011) "Excellent accommodation, very friendly host. highly recommended"
Kate Myatt AUSTRALIA (11/06/2011) "We stayed on this houseboat for three nights with our two young sons. Although a little tired in places it had everything we needed for our stay. It was very well equipped and comfortable and in a wonderful location. Close to a good supermarket, restaurants and the tram to anywhere else you want to go. Being able to enjoy the canal on the deck, complete with visiting ducks and swans, was an added bonus."
Silvia AUSTRIA (11/03/2011) "Silvia-Austria 23.10.-28.10.2011 Ein sehr gemütliches, uriges Hausboot in absoluter Toplage. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und Zentrum zu Fuß erreichbar.Fahrradverleih und Ausflugsfahrten 2-3 Minuten entfernt.Supermarkt ebenfalls. Ausstattung mehr als ausreichend, Küche neuwertig mit allen notwendigen Geräten(auch Geschirrspüler :))Die Terrasse war auch jetzt im Herbst ein gemütliches Plätzchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sind froh kein Hotel gemietet zu haben, es hatte eine unvergessliche Atmosphäre."
Joseph United States of Amerika (10/30/2011) "Great location near open air markets and large supermarkets. Walking distance to trams. Very comfy accommodations. Loved the large kitchen and laundry. Small terrace was very relaxing after a day of touring around and the swans came by every day for their feeding. Right outside the door is an attractive residential area."
Robert Hoekstra United States of Amerika (08/01/2011) "Everything was perfect! The host was very accomodating meeting us as she lives next door! There is parking right outside. The Heineken Experience is right across the canal and it is only a few blocks from the Rijksmuseum and Leidesplein area. The boat was big with a very nice deck on the canal! The bed slept great and the washer/dryer were very important and worked well! The full size refrigerator and freezer also came in handy with the full, newly remodeled kitchen. We have stayed on a houseboat once before through Citymundo in Amsterdam and will definitely do it every time I travel there! This is the way to go...over any hotel!!!"
Vivienne Byrne IRELAND (11/04/2010) "This houseboat is beautiful, we have stayed here three times, once with my parents and twice just ourselves. The kitchen and sitting area are nice and big, the views out onto the canal are very relaxing and you can feed the swans and ducks from the terrace. The kitchen is easy to use and well stocked with utensils. The owner is very nice and friendly. I highly recommend it"
Anastasio Javier Fernández Jiménez Spain (08/28/2010) "Nice houseboat near Heineken Factory. Very confortable, all accomodations, good kitchen. Lovely terrace to the canal."
Vivienne Byrne IRELAND (01/13/2010) "This is a beautiful houseboat in a quiet area but with plenty of tram links close by. The second bedroom is much smaller than the main so if there are more than 2 of you staying there may be arguments! The canal looks great and the swans gliding by at regular intervals make it even more relaxing. We've been here three times and love this place."
Mustafa Yuezer Germany (12/19/2009) "WOW!!! just wow! we had a great time in this really really nice house boat! it is close to everywhere, so location wise it is excellent! the house boat itself is really cosy and offers everything that is needed for your stay. the owner itself was a very friendly and helpful lady too. we did enjoy each moment in this house boat and this place would also be our priority whenever booking again. thanks for the excellent service and looking forward for our next visit already! Charina and Musti"
E. N. United States of Amerika (10/30/2009) "We had a truly lovely stay on this houseboat. The neighborhood is a little off the usual touristy path but still close to a lot. The patio was amazing, we spent most nights eating and relaxing out there. The home office was a huge plus - we brought our laptop and plugged right in. Cable tv was nice as well. Bed, kitchen, shower - all good. We'd stay there again any time. (a+e, Brooklyn, NY, USA) "
Gwyneth Weir United Kingdom (10/08/2009) "Excellent, comfortable well equipped and spacious accommodation- very convenient for the city centre and the major galleries. We loved sitting on the veranda to watch the world go by. We found CityMundo helpful with all our enquiries and Amsterdam people extremely patient with tourists when they got lost! All those canals - all those bicycles- it was a good place to meet up. "
