Andrea Albrechtsberger AUSTRIA (22-08-2010) "We have stayed at Jaap's apartment in Amsterdam for 10 days. The apartment is directly located on the other side of the river IJ. Therefore it took us 5 minutes to get to Central Station and to the City Center. The housing area was very quiet. A supermarket, a few restaurants and a bakery were nearby. The room we rented (with a view on the water) was small but fine for two persons. Jaap gave us two bikes, which were included in the accommodation fee, so it was quite easy for us to go from one point to another in the city. Jaap was open for good hints on what to do or where to go in Amsterdam and around. It was a great time at Jaap's apartment and we recommend to stay at Jaap's for a cheap stay in Amsterdam. "
