A nice apartment with garden, living room with television and view on a canal, kitchen with the same view. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom with a double bed and one with two single beds (or a double). Beautifully situated on one of the canals in the heart of the city.

It is ideally situated only a short walk from the flower market and all the beautiful attractions that Amsterdam has to offer. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and our lovely host provided everything we needed. She lives above the apartment and is there for help and advice if required. It was lovely to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the boats go by on the canal - can't wait to go back!"

I can only echo the previous comments stated below; this is a very fine, functional apartment with a great location! The metro stop is about a 3-minute walk, there are plenty of pubs, cafes, etc. in the immediate area and the Rembrandtplein is a very short distance as well. It was also a nice bonus having the owner directly on site for any questions that arose over our stay as well as her help with the neighboring area. My only very small suggestion would be to bring in another TV to the lower level, probably the master bedroom and a WI-FI connection. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining in the least but it would have been nice to not have to go up to the 2nd level for those two comforts. This is easily one of the top apartments I have stayed at in Amsterdam and I would most definitely return."

Muy limpio y confortable, completamente equipado, en especial la cocina y la ropa de cama y baño. Un detalle : albornoces nuevos para todos. Muy tranquilo, a pesar de estar en el canal. Suzanne, la propietaria, fue muy amable. Recomendado."

Roman Cerny AUSTRIA (16-05-2010) "Me and two of my friends had a very nice trip to amsterdam. This appartment is GREAT and the host was very friendly. (It was not even a problem that we arrived very late in the evening, since we couldn't manage it earlier, actually it was shortly before midnight.) It was about a 15-20 minute walk to reach the center of amsterdam (Dam), and about 20-25 minutes to walk over to Leidseplein. The nearest (Albert Heijn) supermarket is about 600m away, while the nearest coffee shop (for those who might need one) is only about 500m. The living room was bigger than it is shown on the pictures, there is an additional couch on the other side of the room. The host resides in the same house in a separate flat two floors above the appartment, but it was no deal listening to music and bringing some friends for some times (living in a hotel room near the appartment). We also asked to leave the appertment later than usual, since our flight home was scheduled in the evening as well, but since new guests were expected, we couldn't stay, but the host was very kind offering us to leave our luggage and pick it up shortly before we took of to the airport. Actually, i'm looking forward to return as soon as i can manage it."

My only complaint was that according to the directions from Central Station via Tram 4 to Prinsengracht and due to the on-going construction, Tram 4 was on a different route. It would have been nice to have been updated so I would have known this because it did cause confusion. Overall, it was a fantastic trip, my 14th to Holland. We must have taken the sunshine from Texas with us to Amsterdam, because we were very fortunate that the weather was wonderful during our holiday."

Great position near the museums and amazing view on the Prinsengracht from the windows (kitchen and living room). This house has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (both with shower and WC) and it's very clean. Every room is fully equipped...nothing's missing here and the host is a very kind and nice lady. I'd definitely recommend this accomodation!"
