Gail Wynston CANADA (12-06-2010) "We spent the past two weeks in this apartment and found it most satisfactory. It is, as advertised, spacious and overlooks the Singel Canal. The location is superb: two blocks from a major tram stop, easy walking distance to Dam Square, the Central Train Station and the Albert Heijn supermarket. There are several restaurants and smaller groceries in the surrounding blocks. The apartment is on the second floor of a very old building; there's a very steep,long, spiraling staircase, in addition to the stairs leading up to the first floor. Because it is occupied by the owner when not rented, the kitchen is well equipped. The two W.C.s are very tiny. There is one small shower. It is a very bright, comfortable and quiet space in a safe and pleasant neighbourhood. "
