Maria Coyle IRELAND (03/05/2012) "Myself and my boyfriend stayed at this beautiful apartment for 5 nights and it was a fantastic experience, the place is almost too nice to leave to explore the city ! it was very convenient to all the museums and a few minutes tram ride to the centre / train station. Jan introduced us to the apartment and gave helpful tips on where to visit. The accomodation is exquisitely decorated and it was perfect to sit in, for a romantic dinner after a busy day visiting museums or shopping! the local supermarket is very convenient and there are plenty of especially nice café's and restaurants in the immediate vacinity. I have only one fault, a slight oversight, but the bath needed a scrub before use, however we wanted for nothing as the apartment is so well equipped, All in all an excellent choice in a fantastic city to visit. I hope to return very soon !"

The house is very spacious, decorated with exquisite taste, very warm and very well located, about a ten minute tram ride from Central Station, and surrounded by restaurants, market and coffes. The bed is very comfortable and loved the smell of candles Dyptique distributed throughout the house. We liked it so much we decided to make our Christmas dinner in the apartment. Paulien's brother, Roy, was very kind giving us information about the city and beeing at our disposal if any potential problem arised. In conclusion, we recommend this apartment to any of our friends who decide to visit Amsterdam."

Single steep flight of stairs worth the climb. We love de Pijp, which is gentrifying, and spent much of our visit walking the immediate area. Close to great trams for other parts of town. Roof garden with friendly ceramic frog and visiting kitties amazingly private, considering it opens onto the backs of an entire block. Surprising plants for the Netherlands, including a fantail palm. SPECIAL NOTE: you can save money and time, and avoid Centraal Station, by taking "the Red Bus," #197, direct from Schipol to the Museumplein, and then Tram 16 to Stadhouderskade stop for F. Bolstraat. "

I did not have the pleasure to meet the Paulien, but I did meet her extremely nice brother, Jan. He was very helpful, and even carried our bags to the top of the very steep stairs, without our asking. The place is very large, clean, tastefully decorated, wonderful placed in a cozy suburb, very easy and quick to travel to the center of Amsterdam, even by walking, if you like. Jan and Paulien are lovely people, so if you are a lovely person as well, I would suggest this place to you, above all others. "

They were not useable and comfortable. Felt as if we were living in a doll house, but with that minor exception it was a most enjoyable experience, and we loved Amsterdam.
