Kitchen very well stocked with useful items, e.g. coffee, tea, sugar, oil, vinegar and even biscuits and a few chocolates. Plenty of cooking utensils and cleaning materials. Great shower. Good quality towels and bed linen, all very clean. Our weather was too wet to enjoy the balcony which looked most inviting. Quiet and peaceful at night. Good WI-FI speed. I would happily recommend this property. "

The pictures and description are perfectly accurate, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to be a little outside the heavy party atmosphere of "downtown" Amsterdam, but still close enough to enjoy. I'll get the one possible problem for people out of the way first: This flat is the upstairs of a large apartment, with the owner living downstairs. So while you have your own kitchen, bathroom, shower and bedroom, you will share an entrance, and for some highly privacy-minded people, having the landlord right below them might be too close But if that's not a problem, this is a wonderful place in every regard! The kitchen was clean and useful (although the stove was not working at the time we were there). The bathroom is small but neat, and features a blessedly American-style shower & toilet (if you've done much traveling through Europe, you know how good that is to find). Internet access was dependable and fast, and the small balcony overlooking a colorful garden was the perfect spot for morning coffee. Best of all, the location is ideal. You're a couple of blocks out of the main city, so there's quiet at night even on the weekends. But you're only a couple of blocks from Kinkerstrasse and Overtoom, with late night food and tram stations, and similarly near the clubs, cafes, and attractions of the Liedesplein. Even better, it's only a couple of blocks to Vondelpark, which means you can stroll directly from the flat, through the park, and come out at Museum Square---a perfect day in Amsterdam! Finally, the landlord is a dear. Helpful, friendly, and eager to make your stay pleasant. We had some trouble getting in on time, but she went the extra mile to make sure we got the keys, got into the apartment, and knew how to get something to eat once we arrived. In short: A terrific choice for anyone who wants a little quiet, a nice room, and a location near the museums. "

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin- danke Esther! Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, wir werden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten! Da die Unterkunft etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums liegt, lohnt es sich ein Fiets (Fahrrad) für die Dauer des Aufenthalts zu mieten. Der wunderschöne Vondelpark ist jedoch zu Fuss in 5 Minuten zu erreichen."

The room (with a handy kitchen next to it) is about 20 sqmtr and nice! With a window-door-front to an absolute lovely sitting-balcony overlooking a green garden. -Everything spick and span! Thanke you, Esther, to a most amiable host. PS: The location is well connected by Streetcar #1 to Center and #3 to the swinging Jordan-district."

A very spaceful bedroom with a balcony to the garden, a lot of light, nice furniture and all the things you need to enjoy a trip. it´s a quiet neighbourhood and yet 10 minutes from the center and 2 blocks from the vondelpark, nices cafes close to the house, supermarket, etc it all made our stay very pleasant and homey feeling.
