We offer four different types of Amsterdam rentals:
Apartment: Accommodation with one or more separate bedrooms, in addition to a bathroom, living/dining room and kitchen. More about our apartment rental.
Houseboat: boats (yacht, ark, ship) that have (obtained) residential status. Living on a boat has been in Amsterdam for the last 50 years quite normal. The boats that were lived in were initially quite Spartan. That is no longer the case. Practically every houseboat has central heating nowadays. Houseboats are in fact often built to really luxury standards. More about our houseboat rental.
Room: also known as 'Bed and Breakfast'. The rooms are in the host's home, sometimes with their own entrance. The house or apartment will often have only one bathroom with use being shared and sometimes a kitchenette too for breakfast with refrigerator and/or coffee machine.
Studio:one-room apartments, meaning: one bathroom and a bed sitting room with open kitchen and own entrance. These Amsterdam rentals are often relatively more favourably priced than apartments with several rooms in the same part of the city.
CityMundo has on its books several hundred Amsterdam rentals. Each individual accommodation is different from the other. It may be the case that the standard specification given above for each type of accommodation is not an exact match. If that is the case it will be noted in the specification for that accommodation.
All of the Amsterdam rentals that we secure reservations for are offered by private individuals. We do not arrange reservations for boarding houses, camping sites and hotels.
