I stayed with a friend at this venue and loved it. The room is really nice and light and the location is perfect despite the occasionally noisy crowds outside. We briefly met the host who was very friendly. It is great that you can make your own coffee/tea/breakfast in the room and that there are many cafes around the corner. Only thing missing - some glasses, more cutlery, plates and tea towels would be great

We received a very warm welcome and were extremely pleased with the accommodation. It was clean and had everything we needed and the location was just brilliant. Perfect for people who plan on being out and about on their trip to Amsterdam - it would be a bit small if you planned on spending time inside but I can\'t see why anyone would in such a fabulous city! We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

Great stay at this location; amazing location. The owner was very friendly and provided helpful information. Very clean room. You are far enough from the center to avoid loud crowds, yet only ~15 mins walking distance from the train station. There are multiple cafe/bars/restaurants/grocery store/farmers market within walking distance.

Absolutely ideal location. Quiet neighborhood but close to fantastic bars and cafes on the canals. Can walk to the Red Light district and central Amsterdam in 10 minutes. Accommodations were nice and suited our needs. The one thing that would have made it exceptional would have been wifi. Would stay here again.

It was perfect. A beautiful single room, close to the tram. A very helpful host.

The location of this property is perfect. Right on one of the canals and very close to the city centre, public transport and the Anne Frank Museum. The owner was very welcoming and provided us with information on Amsterdam for our stay. On arrival the room had fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine. Having a small fridge meant that we were able to buy some food and not necessarily eat out all the time. Our stay was for 9 nights and the room was cleaned halfway through our stay with more fresh flowers provided. The room was spacious and facilities adequate. My only concern was that at night when you had to close the room up to sleep, there wasn\'t adequate ventilation and therefore the room was quite warm (we were there end of August). Being right on the street and below street level, we were not inclined to keep a window open all night.

Absolutely perfect! Wonderful loft, as shown in photos and video. It is so bright, you can see the canal from the bed and the house-boats. It is totally well located.. going to the left you get the Centre in a few minutes... and going to the Right ...you get to adventure! The owner flatters you with cookies, muffins, coffee, tea. Hairdryer, bottle openers, adapter plug .. The house-woman speaks Spanish. An amazing place for your holidays, there´s no doubt! Absolutamente perfecto!

Lovely quiet location (2 mins from Anne Franks house) and not far from all the hustle and bustle of the main square. Plenty of eateries and bars within a few minutes walk. The room is of good size, nice and clean, comfortable with a shower wet room. We only met the owner briefly who was very welcoming and friendly and offered his advice on Amsterdam should we need it. All in all this was ideal for what we needed and Amsterdam is a beautiful and fun city!

Stayed at this accommodation September 2010. Lovely room very clean and bright just as shown in the video. Fantastic location with canal view. Owner very helpful and lots of nice thoughtful touches i.e flowers, bowl of fruit, tea coffee and biscuits. Also a selection of useful toiletries. Lovely area would stay here again, good value for money. Also there was no time limit on the day we left, which was much appreciated.

Stayed here May 2010 for 3 days. The room is in a beautiful location, really central and handy for nipping about. The owner is very friendly and met us as arranged, he suggested places for breakfast and an excellent thai restaurant in the Jordaan area which was fantasic. I love the peacefulness and leafy canal streets of Amsterdam and this location is perfect for that . A bustling food market just a short stroll away for lovely picnic lunches. A bar next door for a lovely lunch too. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated - even a bottle opener, umberella, hairdryer, toletries and snacks were laid on. Owner also let us check out a few hours later than advertised so we did not have to move our luggage until it was time to go to the airport. We would stay here again and definitly reccommend both this room and city mundo to anyone going to Amsterdam.
